How to Select Translucent Panels for Hotel and Bar Projects

State whether the feature is a wall, bar front, counter, ceiling element, light box, or display surface; include preferred brightness and color temperature.

Viewing distance

Record primary sight lines, expected distance, ambient light, daytime and evening conditions, and whether panel joints should be emphasized or reduced.

Mock-up

Test representative material with a comparable light source, cavity depth, support, and joint so the team can review color, diffusion, shadows, and visible light points.

Panel layout

Send illuminated dimensions, cuts, openings, edges, support locations, access route, pattern direction, and transitions to adjacent finishes.

Maintenance access

Coordinate removable areas, wiring, ventilation, heat, cleaning, replacement route, and local safety requirements with qualified project professionals.
